Mission Trip 2009: Bethesda, Ohio

EARLY in the morning on July 12^th, the North Boone Coactive Churches sent 28 sleepy-eyed individuals off to Bethesda, Ohio to go to work at the Epworth Center helping those in the Southeast Ohio/West Virginia area.  While at the Center, groups were sent out to do many different jobs, from painting to cleaning to demolition to reconstruction.  Our groups were so efficient at their assigned tasks; we added additional work for ourselves! J

It was a week to get to know people in the church and in the youth group, to learn new skills and remember ones that may have been lost, to challenge ourselves, to make new friends, to listen to the voice of God and to humble ourselves as servants of the risen Lord.  It was an opportunity to truly live out the call to be the hands and feet of God.
